The 93rd Pre-sessional Working Group of the United Nations Committee on the Rights of the Child (the Working Group), convened in Geneva on 30 September 2022 to examine and evaluate the reports submitted by the States party to the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.
BHRTR’s co-founder and vice chairperson Dr. Pınar Kara attended the session where the Working Group that makes general recommendations on the examination of the reports submitted by the states parties, gathered the views of the non-governmental organisations.
Dr. Kara shared her insights on the human rights violations that children are exposed to in relation to the business activities of public and private enterprises and the impact of these activities on children’s rights and child labour in Turkey.
