The findings indicate that child labour continues to be a concern within Türkiye’s ready-to-wear supply chain linked to cotton production. This challenge is shaped by a range of interconnected factors, including socio-economic conditions and structural limitations within existing regulatory and governance frameworks.

Addressing child labour requires a holistic and collaborative approach that goes beyond state-led measures alone. Sustainable progress depends on coordinated action among public authorities, corporate actors, and civil society. In this regard, strengthening oversight mechanisms, promoting the integration of human rights due diligence (HRDD) across business operations and supply chains, and supporting the monitoring and advocacy role of civil society emerge as key priorities.
