Context Assessment on Responsible Business Practices in Japanese Supply Chains - Türkiye
This context assessment, undertaken as part of the B+HR Project, assesses the overall state of business and human rights in Türkiye and serves as a key resource for Japanese companies operating in Türkiye. The analysis focuses on existing Turkish and international legislation that compels businesses to comply with human rights standards. The assessment not only outlines the current legal framework, but also identifies significant human rights risks for Japanese companies operating in Türkiye. By assessing Japan-Türkiye business relations, this study endeavours to provide the necessary insights for Japanese companies and their partners. The ultimate goal is to raise awareness and enable informed decision-making and sound human rights due diligence practices.
