Training Programmes for Business Associations
Within the framework of the B+HR Project, Minerva has actively initiated and supported the establishment of the Working Group on Business and Human Rights within TURKONFED. Recognizing the pivotal role of employers’ and business associations in the realm of business and human rights, the Working Group is dedicated to contributing to the following objectives:
- Develop training modules and resources to provide guidance and information to members on human rights.
- Actively engage in national policy and law-making processes pertaining to human rights.
- Foster collaboration and partnerships to enhance business respect for human rights.
- Identify the needs of the business community through influential roles in cooperation with policymakers, regulators, and other relevant institutions.

To facilitate the efficient functioning of the Working Group, Minerva has conducted awareness-raising training sessions for the members. In addition to various training programmes, meetings, and webinars tailored for the working group members, Minerva has also organised training sessions for diverse business associations, including Federation of Social Economy Associations (SEDEFED) and Eastern Marmara Industry and Business Federation (DOĞUMARSİFED), both of which are members of TURKONFED.
