Elevating Human Rights Standards in Agricultural Supply Chains: Comprehensive Training Initiatives
Within the scope of the project aimed at ensuring human rights compliance in agricultural supply chains, Minerva is actively engaged in addressing sector-specific human rights risks and works closely with various stakeholders in agricultural supply chains, including global brands and their suppliers operating in Türkiye, as well as farmers and labour intermediaries.
Minerva’s multifaceted approach includes specialised training programmes designed to empower these supply chain actors. Through initiatives such as Child Protection and Improving the Conditions of Seasonal Agricultural Workers, improving working conditions and promoting occupational health and safety standards are focused.

Child Protection Initiative: This program includes awareness raising and capacity building for different actors to combat child labour in the supply chain. It sets standards for working conditions for young workers.
Improving Conditions for Seasonal Agricultural Workers: This initiative focuses on improving the working conditions of seasonal agricultural workers. It addresses a wide range of issues such as working conditions, fairer remuneration, accommodation, gender and the provision of basic health services.
