UN Global Compact Business and Human Rights Accelerator Programme

Under the umbrella of this initiative, the “Business and Human Rights Workshops,” organised by UN Global Compact Türkiye, are led by co-founders of Minerva, Dr. Çiğdem Çımrın and Dr. Pınar Kara. These workshops serve as transformative platforms, empowering business representatives to comprehend and bolster their role in upholding human rights principles. Not only do these sessions raise awareness, but they also offer guidance on seamlessly integrating human rights into everyday business practices.

Dr. Çiğdem Çımrın and Dr. Pınar Kara also facilitate the preparation of an annual Commitment to Progress (CoP) required by the UN Global Compact, detailing participating companies’ efforts to incorporate the Ten Principles into their strategies and operations, as well as their efforts to support social priorities.
