Occupational Health & Safety
As defined by the International Labor Organization, the field of occupational safety and health includes creating better working conditions and environments to ensure the safety and health of workers in the course of their duties and includes compensation provisions in the event of work-related injuries.
BHRTR’s engagement in occupational health and safety goes beyond mere monitoring and reporting to include a comprehensive approach that integrates occupational health and safety risks into the human rights due diligence process.
BHRTR actively addresses risks through diligent examination of workplace conditions, ensuring that potential hazards are rigorously assessed, especially in supply chains in sectors where occupational health and safety risks are prevalent, such as industry, manufacturing and agriculture. In parallel, we offer a comprehensive assessment of risks outside the workplace, especially in sectors such as agriculture, where working and living conditions are closely intertwined.
