Assoc. Prof. Dr. Deniz Yeşim Taluğ Demiriz is a faculty member at the Department of Graphic Design, Faculty of Fine Arts, Hacettepe University. She completed her undergraduate education in Graphic Design at İhsan Doğramacı Bilkent University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Design and Architecture, and received her M.A. degree in Interaction Design from Domus Academy and the University of Wales. 

Prior to her academic career, Taluğ Demiriz worked as an Art Director at international advertising agencies in Istanbul, gaining professional experience in the creative industry at organizations including Ogilvy & Mather, Leo Burnett, and Ajans Ultra. Combining her

professional design experience with academic research, she continues her studies in the fields of graphic design, interaction design, culture and design, user experience, visual communication, and packaging design. 

She completed her Proficiency in Art degree (Ph.D. equivalent) at Hacettepe University Institute of Fine Arts, Graphic Main Art Branch. Her research focuses on participatory interactive media design in electronic environments within the context of social responsibility. Promoted to Associate Professor in 2023, Taluğ Demiriz continues her academic and professional activities focusing on design education, cultural memory, digital experiences, and innovative approaches in visual communication.
